How do rainbows occur?

1. Rainbows happens when sunlight and rain combine in a very specific way.

2.The beams of sunlight separate into the colours we see in the rainbow as they enter a raindrop.

3.Sunlight is actually made up of different colours that we don’t usually see.

4.When a beam of sunlight comes down to Earth, the light is white

5.But,if the light beam happens to hit raindrops on the way down at a certain angle, the different colours that make up the beam separate so that we can see them-in the form of a rainbow.

6.Light at different angles coming through many raindrops form the rainbow that we see,in stripe in red, orange, yellow, green, blue,
indigo and violet.

Making Paper

This week we read about how a primary school students made paper from pieces of used paper.
I have learnt  that paper takes time to make but it’s  pretty easy to do. I think it takes 1 hour or 30 minutes to make paper. There are lots of items to make a perfect paper to use. Our reading group
will be making paper.
