One dark cold night, lots and lots of people were partying their heads off and drinking with joy. There was a old grumpy man who lived in the lighthouse. He was known as the lighthouse keeper. He was very annoyed by the people when he was trying to do his work. He slammed the window with a furious grunt. Then after three seconds the man heard a very big thump. The old man look up and the lighthouse went out.
The old man ran to his tool box and quickly sprinted up the stairs to fix the bulb. He was looking around the machine that controls the light bulb, but it was not working. He ran up to the bulb upstairs and opened it. He put his hand in the light bulb and felt everywhere but nothing was there.
Suddenly he looked out the window and saw a huge ship honking like a clowns nose. The ship was about to crash. The old man quickly carried the light bulb to replace it with a new one. He used his mighty strength to carry the bulb, but then he tripped over his tool box and shattered the light bulb. He had worried face and had spaghetti legs. The ship was getting very closer. The old man was so terrified it looked like he was going to pee his pants. He ran down the stairs as fast as he could and opened the door. The old man paused for a second.
He was amazed that what he saw. He saw the people holding lanterns coming towards him. They all went upstairs and used their lanterns to give light to the ship. On that day the ship did not crash and the people lived happily ever after
