God Of Chess

Today I read an article based on one of the most intelligent games of all time ,Chess. A  16 year old Iranian boy was declared champion over beating the worlds best chess player of all the ages. He did something one hundred percent terrific and knocked out 132 chess players in a tournament including 109 chess kings.

My Shaped Flamingo

Today I did one of my Smart Learner Activities. We had to make a google drawing and sketch anything you want using just one main thing .... SHAPES. Here is my shaped Flamingo. Instead of putting a flamingos original color on , I made it colorful just to spice things up. Hope you like it :) 

Math Teaser

1. Arahina and her family are collecting pipis. They collect 72 pipis and share them equally. How many people might be in her family and many will they each get?

Strategie 1 :

Half of 72 = 36
I know now tht 6 x 6 =36 and 6
is a multiple of 72, So 6 x 12 = 72

Strategie 2 :

72 divided by 6 = 12 
6 x 12 = 72

She has 12 family members :)

Best of Kahoot

My family and I has always been having joyful game nights everyday to test how well our brains work. Those game nights is all about playing one specific game > Kahoot. We all have to choose a topic or a category and we all compete to become the champion (First Place). My family and I tried many topics relating to school like, Geography, History , Genetics, Hygiene and mostly Countries. After those amazing topics we moved on to cheerful topics like  Disney movies, Sports , WWE and more. That night I won first place six times and placed third and second for the rest. I was very delighted because I absolutely never knew I was gonna get a huge amount of wins, so that memory is gonna last in my brain  forever.

King Of Fighters . A

Welcome to this animation I created myself with my own brain. It's about the famous game king of fighters. This animation was just to keep my mind off from doing a lot of work. When you go through this animation at some points you need to click. If you click at the wrong moment you'll skip a scene probably. Division Facts

1. Diana has 54 seeds to plant and space for 6 rows. How many seeds can she plant in each row?

Strategie 1 :

54 divided by 6 = 9

9 x 6 = 54

So 9 seeds in each of the 6 rows

Strategie 2 :

Half of 54 = 27

27 divided by 9  = 3

So now I know 9 seeds is a multiple of 54

9 seeds in each of the 6 rows

= 9 seeds

 

 

 

 

A Symbol of Honour

Simpson Animation

During the lockdown, I've been making some interesting animations about cartoons. I have created a animation about the wonderful simpsons and I'm hoping you would watch it and enjoy it. My challenge for you is to read the slides fast because its gonna go with a huge amount speed, so my words to you is to keep up and go through quick , Who knows you might mess some key words ?

My Novel Imagination

In class, we've been reading tons of novels as a class. In those novels our teacher has written an huge explanation what each of the novels are about. Our job is to pick a novel and draw what we think the stories about or what's our favourite part in the book. This is my drawing of the book "Prisoner B-3087" My drawing is about German Soldiers invading Poland. Late at night people in Poland are not aloud to exit there houses, because vicious soldiers lurk by and will shoot whoever they see exiting there house.

Math Knowledge

Problem 1

Emily went for a walk through the forest looking for a lemon tree.  Every 2 minutes she walked she had to stop and rest. She spotted a lemon tree and plucked off as many lemons she could. She carried on walking on and it took her an hour. How much times she had to stop and rest.

2 mins = Stop & Rest
1 hour divided by 2 = 30
If she had to stop every 2 minutes in a hour, along the way she stopped and rested 30 whole times

Problem 2

The adventure club went on a hike to see a waterfall. To get to the hike, the club members took 3 cars and 10 vans. There were 3 people in each car and 7 people in each van. How many people went on the hike? 

3 people x 3 cars = 9 people altogether in each car
7 people x 10 vans = 70 people altogether in each car
70 people + 9 people = 79 people altogether

The House of Silence

 Everything went very quiet as I tiptoed into the living room, trying to see what my family was doing. I stood there waiting for someone to speak ,but no sound replied back. I was feeling a bit nervous so I sat down real quietly so I couldn't break the silence in the room. I took a huge look around the room and the only thing I saw was people just sitting down and completely no sound was coming out. It was very strange because my family is always like a circus everyday creating a big amount of noise.

 I was getting very annoyed because I was hoping to speak to some of my family members , but since they were being one hundred percent quiet, I went to the kitchen to have a quick snack. I opened the cupboard and it made a humongous sound which reached all the way to the living room. All of sudden my family begins to say only one word ……”Shhh ”. When they said that, I knew I had to be quiet for the rest of the day.

 I had no one to talk to so I went to my room for the rest of the day to keep all the silence going. After about four hours I left my room to check on my family. I walked in the living room and everyone was dead asleep. They all looked like lazy zombies stacking on each other. The room was filled with silence , but still I giggled for a moment and went back to my room to rest . I didn’t really know why they settled down in the living room and stayed silent for twenty four hours , maybe they were pranking me , Who knows ?

 

Nellie the Elephant ( My own story)

BOOM!!! everything went very loud when the great Nellie the elephant went stomping right into the circus with her 4 gigantic feet. The act started with two cheeky monkeys juggling sharp knives. Up and down the knife's went looking for something to  stab ,but luckily these monkeys were being one hundred percent careful. The  performance was highly extraordinary, when the mighty Nellie came marching in like she was a furious soldier.

As she was walking in, one of the circus animals which was a tiger, came zooming in with its fire ring. Suddenly Nellie spun around and accidently whooped the fire ring straight out of the tigers hand. The fire ring went up into the air flying and flying when it finally touched the circus tent. The tent burst into flames. Nellie was petrified she didn't know what to do, all she could do is look at all the danger she caused.

A few moments later Nellie was kicked out of the circus crushing all her hopes of being famous. Nellie was sorry for what she did but she knew she was never gonna get her job back. She packed as much stuff she could and went on searching for a new home for her to rest in.

Who knows, she might even start her own circus?

She gritted her teeth and began the climb. With her vulnerable young perched precariously on her back as she ascended the branch, the extra weight caused her paws to tremble, and her sensitive whiskers to twitch at the strain. Now that their nest had gone, and storm clouds gathering overhead, she was desperate to find a new location to begin building again. It was their only chance…
