Problem Solving

Manu collected 183 stamps in January. By March he had 834. How many stamps did he add to his collected in February?

834 - 183 =

800 - 180= 620

34 - 3 = 31  620 + 31 = 651

 Since I couldn't subtract 30 with 80, I combined 80 and 100 which is =180 So 800 - 180= 620 and now the only numbers left is 30, 4 and 3. So I put 30 and 4 together which is = 34. Finally I did 34 - 3 = 31 ( 620 + 31= 651)

Fitness ( Poem )

Running, Jumping feeling very exhausted
Feels like my whole body is one hundred percent frosted

Warming up and warming down
Lots and lots of running around

Playing energetic games everyone doing there best
Cant wait to go back to have a good rest

Sweat coming done from my legs, Sweat coming done from my head
All I'm just thinking of is me in my bed

Fitness is over, I am one thousand percent tired
My body is fully hot, even hotter than fire

Going back to class looking so vicious
I'm one million percent excited for our next awesome fitness   Image result for running fitness gif

Water Fun Day 2020

As Water fun day 2020 began, strong teams from each house were chanting as loud as possible. Every team were being hundred percent vicious and were trying there best to chant louder than the other houses. It was very loud, hilarious and spectacular. The chants were over and we got in to the real thing. Every class went to there stations and were getting ready well my class went to have some fun time in the nice and cool pool.

The time past on and we got out of the pool. We went to our next station which was at the courts. We had to throw the water balloons to out teammates without making it explode in front of our faces. As soon as it gets to the last person, they have to run as quick as the can to the bucket, fill the cup with water and go spill as many water as they can into there buckets. The bell rang and BOOM! all the houses were trying to the hardest to keep the water balloon from splashing or getting near the floor.

A few moments later the bell rang again and my class and I moved as quick as we could to our next fun station. It was near our teachers staff. There hula hoops on the floor and cones surrounding us. The game was to dip your containers or yogurts in the bucket and hop onto the hula hoops. We then have to pass the cones and run very fast up the hill to dunk your water  in the bucket. The bell rang the third time and we all used our might legs and pumped them very hard so we could past the cones. My house was doing a phenomenal job when I pumped my legs all the way up the hill holding a container filled with a lot of water. I was about to dunk it in when my beautiful teacher asked if she could see my water. I gave it to her and she w
as so sneaky, she tipped it in the red house's bin Rata. After that we wanted to get revenge so the next time, I ran up the hill with my friend, Kalo and as soon as we got there Kalo sprayed as many water as she could on Mrs.Tofa. It was very hilarious and awesome at the same time.

Everyone was having so much fun when the signal happened to go to our second to last station. This was gonna be the best one of all stations. Guess what the station was.......A WATER SLIDE. We had to fill our cups with water and slide down the slide without your water tipping out fully. I was very hyped and nervous at the same time. I was waiting, waiting and waiting and finally the bell rang. My face was full of fear and excitement, but when I saw everyone having the time of there lifes, I just ran and jumped high into the air and landed on my gluteus maximus. I slid down with a face of joy. I then stood up feeling like I just pooped my pants. A few minutes later I went on the slide multiple times until I smacked on the fun out of me.

Finally we went on to our last station. Its basically like up and down with a sponge full of water. As time was going we all went hard at our last station . Every time the sponge gets past on to me, I always take off my T-shirt and squeeze it together in the bucket. I had so much fun at the water fun day it was out standing. Our teachers presented the places and Kowhai came 4th place Kauri came 3rd Rata came 2nd and Nikau was crowned the winner . It was a fun playing the competitive games.

My Kiwican Reflection Part 2

We had kiwi can today and I was just a bit hyped to have fun. As the last time I had a topic I had to follow. This time I was learning about fairplay. Our energizer began and it was called 21. Usually in 21 its free for all but this time we did the beautiful girls vs the handsome gentlemens. The game began and BOOM!, all the girls were dropping like flies. A few moments later the boys started get distracted so then the girls where winning. The rule was to only say 2 numbers. AS the game was passing on its was getting difficult for the boys so then finally the girls won.

Next we had a little chat before we had a activity. Fairplay is very important because without and fairness everything would not be fun. The next game was a super hard game ... Human bowling. The main rule was to hit someones leg by rolling the ball. We were not aloud to flinch or move a single bit. A few minutes later it was down to 4 boys to only hit 1 girl. The time was going and BANG, the boys won fair n square.

The game was over and we all sat down on the mat feeling very exhausted. Since the boys won once and the girls won once we had a final match to finish it off. We played end of the road. Its basically a questioning game. If you shout out the answer your team will lose 1 person. The game was going really fast and each team were trying there best, but suddenly a student from the girls team was outsmarting everyone and they won. The girls were celebrating very loud and some of the boys were clapping. Today I learnt to show fairness everywhere.

My Reflection on Kiwican

In kiwican today it was one hundred percent fun and very hilarious. I learnt a many things in kiwican like rules. I learnt that rules are very important because if there were no rules everything or everyone would get hurt. Rules need to be included so that everything can be fair. Playing games would not be fun if there were no rules , that's why my class and I worked on a short activity about rules. We had a lot of fun and maybe sometime we could play it again.

We then moved on to our real activity ¨DEFENDER¨. So the challenge for me was to follow the instructions. The goal of the game was to hit the ball through someone's legs to get them out. So rule 1, we could only hit or block the ball using 1 hand. Rule 2, we could not hit the ball above and finally rule 3, if our legs were too close to each other we are eliminated. As the game began we all were going our hardest and trying to win. My class and I had a spectacular time playing.

As our kiwican session was going we played one last game to finish off….. And through that game my team and I followed the rules and was declared the winner.
