The Mysterious and Ugly Cave

I woke up one morning in a mysterious cave in cold freezing

water. I was going to drown but someone pulled me out. It

was my precious friend Gideon. He pulled me out and said ‘

’Are you okay ?”and i said “Yup”. We walked around the

GIGANTIC CAVE and saw little creatures crawling around

like centipedes,spiders,bugs and even mice. We saw a wall that

was made out of freezing ice and lots of pointy rocks.

Then Suddenly I heard a weird sound in the water. There was a

shadow near me. I counted’’ 3...2...1… JUMP!’’ and we dived

into the water and saw a tiny dog. We picked it up and put it in

a warm place. We named it Coco. They camped in there for two days.

They went to look around again and they found a hungry homeless old

man named Jeff. He gave us a flip telephone.

We called the police to come and to get us out of there and in two

minutes they came and pulled us out and we said  ‘’THANK YOU

SO MUCH”. On that day we got rescued.I will never forget this day.

Winter Poetry

I see freezing frost on the cold floor

I see the hot sun rising

I feel like my whole body is a block of ice

I hear pretty birds chirping 

I see cotton candy in the sky

I see skinny and crooked trees

I taste icy frost on my tongue

I can hear children screaming for an awesome and epic soccer game

I feel the strong wind hitting my face

I see the hottest object shining bright in my eyes

I feel ghost fog coming from the cold floor splashing through my body 

Winter Poem

I see the strong wind blowing the big tall trees

I hear the children playing with huge, freezing ice balls

I smell delicious food cooked from my precious Mum.

I feel like my toes are frozen and I feel like my hands are a block of ice.

I taste a nice hot cup of hot chocolate warming up my stomach.

Who am I

Malo Lelei, My name is Soane and I am 10 years old.  I am Tongan and I have a big family. I have 7 cool brothers including me, 5 beautiful sisters and my lovely parents. My dad is an engineer and my mum stays home babysitting my little brother, cooking and cleaning. My favourite food is pasta, butter chicken and curry. I like the colour red and golden and my favourite hobby in school is writing.



 My goals I need to achieve at school is to be an active listener and to be a better role model to others. I like participating in sports and also like spelling difficult words. My favourite sport I would say, would be rugby union because the first rugby player that inspired me was Rieko Ioane and Beauden Barrett.



I have lots of friends and my favourite teachers are Miss Smith and Mr Nath. They are both intelligent and have a great sense of humour. I have 2 favourite movie actors. The first one is  Dwayne Johnson from Jumanji and the second one is Chadwick Boseman from Black Panther. When I am older I would like to be a member of the All Blacks and to be a police officer.

My favourite ice-cream is mint-chocolate chip and my favourite superhero is Night Crawler. I'm a big fan of soccer players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.Jr. Someday I would like to compete in world sevens and bump off at least 31 rugby players. I hope you learned a little bit of who I am.
