- Diana has 54 seeds to plant and space for 6 rows. How many seeds can she plant in each row?
Strategie 1 :
54 divided by 6 = 9
9 x 6 = 54
So 9 seeds in each of the 6 rows
Strategie 2 :
Half of 54 = 27
27 divided by 9 = 3
So now I know 9 seeds is a multiple of 54
9 seeds in each of the 6 rows
= 9 seeds
